Maintenance Mechanic Technician

2nd Shift 3rd Shift and FullTime Weekend

Specialties: Electrician PLC Packaging Machinery or Machinist

Location: Bethlehem PA

Salary Range: $50000 $85000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Duties/Responsibilities: All Specialties

• Perform maintenance tasks supporting production including diagnosing problems modifying repairing and calibrating highspeed packaging machinery and process equipment with minimal supervision.
  
• Troubleshoot maintain changeover and improve the operation of both new and existing packaging and process equipment using PMs SOPs and equipment manuals.
  
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and routine repairs.
  
• Adhere to lockout/tagout safety procedures.
  
• Perform work safely.
  
• Execute predictive maintenance tasks to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
  
• Accurately document work as required to comply with all policies and procedures.
  
• Undertake other assigned duties.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment meeting GMP sanitation food safety and quality standards.
  

Qualifications: All Specialties

• Must pass general basic maintenance mechanic written exams and respective specialty tests.
  
• Must pass practical evaluations.
  
• Ability to operate high lift and aerial lift; must obtain a forklift license.
  

Qualifications: Electrician

• Strong industrial electrical skills; able to read and work from electrical schematics.
  
• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures (both indoors and outdoors).
  
• Capable of ascending moderate to high elevations (1075 feet) and climbing.
  
• Must attend ARC Flash training within the first 90 days.
  

Qualifications: PLC

• Proficiency with Allen Bradley: troubleshoot online with RSLogix for PLC5 SLC500 and Logix 5000.
  
• Understanding of Servos.
  
• Ability to modify PLC programs as needed.
  

Qualifications: Packaging Machinery

• Strong mechanical skills.
  
• Familiarity with various packaging equipment types.
  
• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures (both indoors and outdoors).
  
• Capable of ascending moderate to high elevations (1075 feet) and climbing.
  

Qualifications: Machinist

• Ability to repair and rebuild equipment and manufacture parts and components as needed.
  
• Skill in fabricating parts from blueprints and concepts using machining equipment.
  
• Strong mechanical skills.
  
• Knowledge and experience with all types of machining equipment.
  
• Must have basic hand tools.
