Main Mission:
This role provides an instrumental factor in the brand perception of Malaysia consumer towards the brand. The role strives to provide the most cutting edge VM solutions and Store Design working together with regional to craft out a unique merchandising solution for the brand to differentiation and strengthen its brand proposition.

ROLE AND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchandising & Visual Display:
  • Designated as the stores brand gatekeeper ensuring that the image and style of the company are projected correctly at all times in all distribution channels. This will include the execution of visual merchandising changes in counters Skin Spa retail stores and all points of sale where required
  • Regular store visits with the retail management team to ensure visual merchandising standards are at their optimum in all doors and to upskill where required.
  • To work with a local designer for VM design and production prior to Regional Design Team approval and validation.
Merchandising and Visual Display: Brand Eventing Retailtainment and Promotions
  • To plan design and merchandise/Visual display Brand Events following the MY Marketing Sales Promotion Calendar
  • Brand Events/Trade Marketing are displayed only in our boutiques and key door.
  • To plan design and merchandise/Visual display all Trade Promotions and pop up event (small to large scale)
  • These include the briefing to contractors and overseeing the execution of the actual animation
  • With the Marketing Calendar Sales Promotion in mind you will call for an initial meeting to take on briefs from stakeholders which include (MM SM and S&OM)
  • Further from the initial meets to keep stakeholder in copy with the changes until full executions always
Store Projects
  • Coordinating of all counter/boutique renovation projects from the beginning to completion including setting up of store and store opening trade activities.
  • Liaising with the Regional Design Team on construction requirements such as briefing instore guidelines supporting documents etc. to ensure the Regional Design Team has all the relevant documents to work with.
  • Timely and close coordination with trade partners landlords and external vendors to ensure the projects are completed according to plan and within the timeframe.
  • Ensure project cost is kept within the budget / Golden Rule and to maximize savings where possible.
Inventory Management:
  • The merchandise flow and product placement will be one of the primary responsibilities.
  • Proactive participation in inventory management functions will be vital to the success of the overall merchandising effort.
  • In the course of completing your visual merchandising tasks you will also manage stock merchandise take inventory ensure the stock merchandise is in tiptop conditions and facilitate stock transfers.
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving process and ensure that merchandise is customerready before it is placed on the sales floor.
  • Responsible for ordering of POP VM materials based on marketing orders (to work with the Marketing Manager) to ensure all Visual Merchandising materials are optimized.
  • Requisition of all VM materials for all launches and promotions.
Procurement Management:
  • The job involves sourcing and purchasing goods and services related to Merchandising for counter/retail for the company according to its allocated budget.
  • Ensure meeting the audit process through sourcing for the fair price quality and services from various suppliers for comparison.
  • Administrative input to ensure procurement and finance processes are followed through and all necessary documentation completed on time.
Other responsibilities may be added to the above which are consistent with the title Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree qualification in any discipline
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu is a MUST
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications especially in MS Excel
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite applications is an advantage
  • Possesses a good amount of creativity and creative problemsolving.
  • Team player

  • Comfortable to work in a fastpaced environment
  • The highly operational and entrepreneurial role the candidate should be tenacious and have a handson approach to business
