Job Description
Responsibilities of the Role
- Provide lead technical oversight for a strategic project executed by DES/EPS
- Drives and influences technology, technical value streams or technical processes within own field of expertise according to a strategic roadmap that impacts the business
- Typically advises and supports Business Units, Segments, or Corporate Technology Fields, respectively
- Takes ownership for their technology field including disruptive technologies
- Reviews customer RFP’s, developing solution concepts around Siemens products, determining solution costs, quantifying project risks, attending plant walk downs or customer meetings, and developing actual proposal documents.
- Coordinates with Measurement and Verification team to monitor project performance and provide inputs for retro-commissioning and other energy services.
