Job Description

Job Summary:
Refine Plastic Surgery Administration is in search of a dedicated Health Administrator to join our team. As a leading institution specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures we are committed to ensuring the smooth coordination and effective leadership of our Stores and Housekeeping operations. The role of the Health Administrator will involve providing leadership and coordination for the Stores and Housekeeping departments. Reporting to the Head of Human Resource and Administration this position plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness standards of our facility.

Role Overview:
As the Health Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the functioning of the Stores and Housekeeping departments at RPASC. Your duties will include coordinating inventory management ensuring cleanliness and sanitation protocols are adhered to and providing leadership and support to staff within these departments. Your role is integral to maintaining a safe organized and welcoming environment for both patients and staff members. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the housekeeping and Stores section
  • Maintenance of the assets of the Hospital.
  • Continuous review of the operating environment of the practice
  • Assist in Public Relations and marketing.
  • Onboarding and follow up with SHA and Medical Insurance companies (A minimum of 10)
  • Recruitment induction and training of staff.
  • Determination of the work of these staff including position definition task types and task allocation in response to the needs of the practice.
  • Development and review of systems of staff performance appraisal and training needs analysis staff under your section.
  • Preparation of budgets and annual plans to meet the objectives of the Department.
  • Schedule and ensure routine and nonroutine maintenance of equipment.
  • Research and implement procedures that improve operational efficiency and patient care.
  • Develop goals and objectives for their departments.
  • Keep their organizations in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Assist with Recruitment training evaluation and supervision of departmental staff.
  • Create work schedules for those under their direction.
  • Organize and create records that track specific aspects of the facilitys functions.
  • Represent their departments during interdepartmental meetings.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to the job holder by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications
  • A Diploma or University Degree in Healthcare Management
  • At least two years working experience as a Storekeeper in a reputable organization
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management systems is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislations would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of professional standards
