Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the operations of our manufacturing facility in Karachi. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes maintaining high standards of product quality and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee all daily operations of the plant ensuring production schedules are met with optimal efficiency.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards and customer expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the plant operates in a safe manner in compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Team Leadership: Manage mentor and develop plant staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant budget ensuring costeffective operations and adherence to financial targets.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity reduce costs and improve quality.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and material handling processes to ensure adequate supply levels and minimize waste.
- Maintenance Oversight: Ensure the proper maintenance of plant equipment and machinery minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance including production output quality metrics and financial performance.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other departments including supply chain quality assurance and human resources to ensure seamless operations and achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Manufacturing Business Administration or a related field.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in plant management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational management.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
