Kafka Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Developer to join our team. As a Kafka Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing Kafkabased solutions for our organization. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements architect robust Kafka solutions and ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of data.

• Designing and implementing highperformance scalable and faulttolerant Kafka solutions
• Collaborating with software engineers and architects to integrate Kafka with existing systems
• Writing testing and deploying Kafka producers and consumers
• Monitoring and troubleshooting Kafka cluster performance issues
• Managing Kafka topics partitions and replication
• Ensuring data integrity and security within Kafka clusters
• Optimize Kafka system performance and capacity planning
• Collaborating with the DevOps team to automate infrastructure tasks related to Kafka
• Working closely with data engineers and analysts to develop data streaming solutions
• Keeping up to date with the latest Kafka features trends and best practices

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a Kafka Developer or similar role
• Strong understanding of Kafka architecture including topics partitions brokers and producers/consumers
• Experience in designing and implementing Kafka solutions in a production environment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Scala or Python
• Knowledge of data streaming frameworks such as Spark or Flink is a plus
• Familiarity with integrating Kafka with other technologies such as Hadoop or Elasticsearch
• Experience with Kafka monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or Confluent Control Center
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloudbased infrastructure
• Strong problemsolving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and tasks
• Agile development experience is desirable
