Title: Project Manager (PMP certified)
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large complex IT projects for US Government agencies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering Charter Scope Schedule Cost Quality Communication Change Risk Issue and Resource management plans.
- Utilize project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project to develop and manage formal project schedules tracking progress and variances against baselines.
- Apply both Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies in project management including conducting scrum sessions and presenting schedule/status updates to leadership.
- Develop write and manage detailed Scope Documents oversee project deliverables and manage the deliverables acceptance process.
- Ensure project quality through planning quality assurance endtoend system testing quality control user acceptance testing (UAT) defect and metrics management.
- Manage COTS software implementation projects and/or inhouse application development (SDLC) projects.
- Maintain Project Management Professional Certification.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing and leading large complex IT projects for US Government agencies.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools including Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
