ServiceNow Architect
Job Location: Alpharetta GA Day 1 Onsite Candidate needs to work 3 Days at Client Office
- The ServiceNow Architect plays a critical role in the design implementation and optimization of ServiceNow solutions within the organization.
- This position requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform IT service management processes and business requirements to architect solutions that drive efficiency automation and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture:
- Design endtoend solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements and objectives.
- Develop technical specifications architecture diagrams and solution designs for ServiceNow implementations.
- Define and enforce architectural standards best practices and governance policies within the ServiceNow environment.
2. Platform Customization and Configuration:
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs and workflows.
- Develop ServiceNow components such as workflows forms UI policies business rules and integrations.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management (ITSM) IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Business Management (ITBM).
3. Integration and Automation:
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications using APIs web services and middleware.
- Design and implement automated workflows and processes to streamline service delivery and improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage ServiceNow Orchestration and Automation capabilities to automate repetitive tasks and activities.
4. Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the ServiceNow implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices for ServiceNow development and architecture.
5. Performance Optimization and Scalability:
- Identify opportunities to optimize performance scalability and reliability of ServiceNow solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning load testing and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance under varying workloads.
- Implement best practices for ServiceNow instance management including instance cloning patching and upgrades.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Document technical designs configurations and implementation details for ServiceNow solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams deployment guides and standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to empower endusers and technical staff with ServiceNow expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
- Indepth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities including ITSM ITOM ITBM Service Portal and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes ITIL framework and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript XML HTML CSS and other web technologies used in ServiceNow development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Graph and CMDB data modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades patching and migration strategies.
