Job Description

Job Title: Superintendent
Location: Downtown San Francisco CA
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects in downtown San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and handson experience in managing projects that involve elevators and vertical transportation systems. This role requires a professional with EM 385 and CQM certifications ensuring adherence to safety and quality management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage daily operations of construction projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure all projects comply with EM 385 standards and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce the Construction Quality Management (CQM) program on all projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team fostering a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing projects involving elevators and vertical transportation systems.
  • EM 385 certification is required.
  • CQM certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes means and methods.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field is preferred.
