Job Title : Superintendent
Type : Onsite / Fulltime
Location: Chantilly VA / Washington Metropolitan area (This position will report to the corporate office in Chantilly Virginia with onsite project visits in the Washington Metropolitan)
Job Description: The Superintendent is the primary onsite contact responsible for managing construction activities and ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to quality standards. This role involves coordinating subcontractors managing field staff and supporting Project Managers with contracts and documentation. The Superintendent also enforces safety and quality control protocols while maintaining open communication with office personnel to address project progress and any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production quality and safety on construction sites.
- Supervise and train field staff fostering professional growth.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure smooth work progress.
- Maintain updated project plans and documentation.
- Communicate project updates and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 46 years of field supervision experience especially in healthcare or renovation projects.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in construction management software (Procore MS Excel etc.).
- Certifications such as OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR and ASHE preferred.
