Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This fulltime contract position involves providing nursing services to clients who have been civilly committed by a court system.

Responsibilities:

Delivering comprehensive nursing care to clients in a secure treatment environment.

Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Monitoring and assessing clients physical and mental health status.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Providing education and support to clients regarding their health and treatment.

Maintaining accurate and timely medical records.

Responding to medical emergencies and providing appropriate interventions.

Adhering to all safety protocols and standards of practice.

Evening Shifts: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM

Weekend Coverage: At least 9 out of every 13 weekends (Saturday/Sunday)

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.

Experience in psychiatric or correctional nursing is preferred.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Flexibility to work evening shifts and weekends as required.
