Position: Wedding and Events Coordinator

Location: Kelvedon Essex

Salary:(dependent on experience)

Job Type: Fulltime In House (40 hours per week)

It offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for weddings celebrations and corporate gatherings. Steeped in character the venue provides a picturesque setting that combines the beauty of a bygone era with contemporary amenities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Wedding and Events Sales Representative to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling wedding services to engaged couples ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. This role is crucial in achieving sales targets building client relationships and contributing to the overall success of the wedding and events business.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement:

  • Interact with engaged couples in person over the phone and via email to understand their wedding needs and preferences.
  • Provide information about wedding products and services highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up with potential clients to convert leads into sales.

2. Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on the latest wedding trends industry developments and competitor offerings.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of wedding products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.

3. Sales Process:

  • Guide clients through the sales process including product selection customization options and contract negotiation.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

4. Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members vendors and partners to enhance the overall wedding experience for clients.

5. Event Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of wedding plans.
  • Assist clients with logistical details and provide support leading up to and during the wedding day.

6. Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate client records including contact information preferences and special requests.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales preferably in the wedding or events industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of wedding trends traditions and etiquette.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
  • Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • A passion for weddings and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Able to prioritize workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Commercially astute.
