Position: Project Manager
Duration: 3 Months can be Extended After September Fiscal Year
Location: Montgomery Alabama (Onsite from Day 1)
Project Description:
- Assist in creating and updating support tickets in ServiceNow.
- Help maintain all project documentation templates processes primarily in SharePoint.
- Coordinate with the technical team supervisors to prioritize tasks as needed to meet targets.
- Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations as needed.
- Gather Business and Reporting Requirements from various Stakeholders.
- Maintain various project tracking spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with training team to create a training plan and training materials.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Responsible for tracking project issues/resolutions and coordinating with software vendors and/or team members for resolution/feedback.
- Supports project closure activities to include final reporting lessons learned knowledge transfer and project document archiving.
Skills Required:
- Technically competent with various software programs such as Microsoft Windows and Office 365 Excel SharePoint TEAMS.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- ServiceNow or Jira problem ticketing experience is a plus.
- Can conform to shifting priorities demands and timelines through analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Must be able to learn understand and apply new technologies.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
Experience Required:
- 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Experience at working both independently and in a teamoriented collaborative environment is essential.
Education Required:
- College degree in the field of Business or IT.
