Job Description

Job Description: Bilingual HR Genralist (Full Time with a Fortune 500 company)

Location: Dallas TX

Summary:

This HR Supervisor under the direction of the Manager is responsible for the daytoday HR operations including benefit administration on/off boarding payroll employee relations and visa administration for the Company. This position supervises HR administrative assistants and supports the development of emphasizing empowerment quality and productivity. This is a progressive and collaborative environment; therefore it is essential that not only the skillset but the passion for the above is a fit.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads and performs the routine functions of the HR department including administering pay benefits leave and enforcing company policies procedures and programs.
  • Maintains employees benefit data and applies any changes to payroll and benefits in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes prepares and processes an accurate payroll with applicable knowledge of various deductions (pre/post tax) local state and federal tax requirement and grossup calculations for expatriates payroll.
  • Administer and manage employees hours time off and other time and attendance issues.
  • In charge of the overall administration of insurance coverage 401(k) retirement plan personnel transactions such as hires promotions transfers and performance reviews disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Responsible and performs the onboarding and orientation of all employees contractors and temporary workers.
  • Responsible and performs offboarding including exit letters payments and exit interviews.
  • Responsible for all VISA and Green Card administration which requires coordination with immigration attorney.
  • Investigate workplace accidents or allegations when necessary.
  • Maintain records and prepare documentation to maintain governmental and legal compliance.
  • Maximize productivity and efficiency through document management and assist in developing new policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree Human Resources Business Administration or equivalent experience of 38 years in a Human Resources professional related role
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Must be familiar with payroll processing with or without payroll software and multistate payroll experience is preferred.
  • Current knowledge of HR topics including but not limited to federal and local regulatory laws and practices.
  • Bilingual Japanese/English is a must with strong English communication.
  • SHRMCP/SHRMSCP or PHR/SPHR is a plus

This job operates in a professional office environment which may include working remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a fulltime position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

This position may require up to 5% travel.
