Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Consultant and Development projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. This role requires excellent analytical skills a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Planning:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials time and labor costs.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements

Contract Management:

  • Draft review and manage contracts with clients contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met and advise on contractual matters.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure fair and beneficial agreements.
  • Cost Control and Management:
  • Monitor and manage project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and submit regular cost reports and financial statements.
  • Identify and manage variations to the project scope and cost implications.

Valuation and Payments:

  • Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and prepare valuation reports.
  • Certify and process payments for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Handle final accounts and settlement of project costs.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide advice on contractual and commercial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with project managers engineers architects and other stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to all project participants.
  • Facilitate meetings and negotiations with clients and contractors.

Job Type: Fulltime

Experience:

  • Quantity Surveyor: 5 years (Preferred)
