Project Engineer-Boilers

Our Client an employeeowned company that specializes in (HRSG) Heat Recovery Steam Generators for clients in the power industry is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Specialty Products Team. In this role youll be part of a team thats responsible for providing fired boilers and auxiliary equipment. This is a hybrid position with up to 15% travel.

Responsibilities:

• The individual in this role will report to the to the Director of Specialist Products and will be the main technical lead on boiler design projects and will serve as the main technical contact for the customer.
• Manage Supplier Subcontracts through specification requisitioning and fabrication in a manner that meets all the contract specifications including standard specifications and such that equipment is delivered on time or ahead of the project scheduled delivery dates.
• Provide technical customer support for activities from the start of the project through delivery of equipment to the jobsite.
• Provide support to the Field Project Engineer as needed once equipment starts to deliver to the jobsite and maintain customer relationships through quality support while minimizing costs and risk .

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience reviewing contracts and project specifications and reviewing technical aspects of supplier proposals. Familiarity with boilers strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills highly professional organized and trustworthy team player.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to read write problem solve make quick decisions interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential.
