Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Opportunity
Location: Remote
Experience: 4+ years
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design the Content strategy for the section (US Sports)
2. Liaise with external data providers and internal stakeholders (SEO and Content teams) to setup the section
3. Benchmark Sportskeeda's content coverage vis-a-vis competition and work on actionable points to provide the best experience to the users while building content authority
4. Own P&L and growth responsibilities for the vertical
5. Team management: hire and build a strong team of writers and editors from across the globe
6. Design and deliver the content plan through the team of writers, editors at your disposal.
Requirements
1. 4+ years of experience of helping content verticals for large publishers/content companies is a must.
2. Experience in using google trends & optimizing articles using it.
3. Understanding of SEO (Off-Page, On-Page, Technical)
4. Growth Mindset, Strong Business Acumen, and Analytical Skills
5. Energy and passion to create the most engaging content for hardcore fans
6. Passionate about sports, especially the major US Sports, including NBA, NFL and MLB will be an added advantage (Not must)
