You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailKey Roles & Responsibilities • Responsible to ensure all diving operations are executed safely, efficiently and are high in quality and maintain high level of customer focus • Maintaining a close operational communication with VP – Subsea Operations or their designate • Responsible for developing annual budgets and manage cost efficient operations • Ensure efficient mobilisation of resources and Diving operations are reported regularly and accurately • Overall responsibility for all diving activities, and life support functions associated with the project offshore • Overall responsibility for all operational activities, including vessel deployment, all equipment onboard the vessel, diving assets and ROVs • Ensuring all operational/diving/ROV activities undertaken comply with relevant legislative directives • Ensure all operational/diving/ROV activities comply with CONTRACTs requirements • Be the guardian of the Diving Management system, and ensure documentation is as per standard, up to date • Responsible for maintaining good rapport with clients and liaise with client representatives on a regular basis to ensure high level of customer satisfaction • Responsible for effective management of onshore team and make sure the offshore projects are well supported from the office • Coordinate with Development & Commercial team during the tending as needed • Establish effective communication with procurement department to ensure the key project supplies are at disposal on time to avoid direct impact on the projects • Liaise with the Marine and vessels operations team to ensure that that the provision and maintenance of assets and procedures is best in class • Implementing, maintaining and documenting a routine preventive maintenance/certification program in respect of the diving systems and support equipment • Responsible for Flag and Class and IMCA follow-up for all vessels • Supervise the Diving operations Cost Centre Budget & Financial Forecast and P&L • Review timecards and submit them on a timely basis to payroll • Ensure the implementation of the company’s health and safety policy is undertaken by the entire company employee’s and/ or the company subcontractors • Regular Diving and Construction vessel visits and interphase between client and Ship Management as needed • Implementing the Company quality assurance and control philosophy in respect of all operational and diving activities • Action any corrective measures raised by Audits and/or inspections carried out by Company. Safety/QA department pertaining to personnel, the work site and supporting equipment Communication Internal Communication: • VP – Subsea Services • Marine Operations / Project Management • Fleet & Technical • QHSE – Offshore • Procurement • Chartering • Assets Planning & Economics Purpose: • To update the status of the projects in regular basis • To ensure the smooth running and effective manning of Diving vessels in accordance with the relevant statutory authorities • To ensure the maintenance of diving support in compliance with both statutory and operational requirements • Ensure Dive Operations complies with Halul’s internal QHSE policies and procedures, advise amendments if any from • For efficient procurement of the products and services required for the projects on time • To support tendering as needed External Communication: • Clients • HSE Advisors / External Auditors / Third Parties Purpose: • To maintain excellent business relationships with regards to the smooth running of the projects and to open up more opportunities • To ensure the operations are carried out in compliance the relevant standards and to get exposed to the new regulations pertaining to the industry Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Accountability: Are accountable for their acts and omissions. Responsibility: To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses. Authority: To stop work if they think the work is unsafe. Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills Education & Professional Qualification: - BEng degree and 5-years’ experience or 12-years basic education and 10-years’ experience, and - IMCA certified Supervisor certificate - Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate a plus Professional Experience: - 10 years of experience as a Diver (air and saturation) and minimum 5 years’ experience managing Diving and/or Offshore operations being ashore. Geographic Experience: - GCC preferable Computer Skills: - Computer literate Language Skills: - English a must, Arabic a plus Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge: - Knowledge of ROV operations - Knowledge of IRM operations
