Your Responsibilities

As a Working Student in our Legal & Compliance Department you will help us to strengthen our Legal & Compliance Department working in an international environment supporting the business in Germany Luxembourg France and Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with a wide range of legal matters with a focus on consumer law IT law data protection law and insurance contract law.
• Conduct legal research on upcoming new regulations such as (but not limited to) the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act).
• Maintain and update our contract management and data protection management tools ensuring timely monitoring of deadlines.
• Contribute to the quality assurance of terms & conditions and other legal documents.
• Handle complaints and ensure proper resolution.

Your ideal background and skillset

• Currently enrolled in a German University or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) studying German Law (state examination Bachelors or Masters) preferably in Semester 5 or higher
• Fluent in German and English knowledge of French is a plus
• High social competence handson mentality solutiondriven and team player
• Ability to tackle and solve complex issues with the capacity to explain them clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Careful independent and pragmatic approach to work
