Job Description: Central Controlling and Accounting

Position: Financial Controller (Central Controlling and Accounting)
Location: Bonn Overath
Reporting Line: Direct reporting to the CFO / Board

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leadership and Management: Responsibility for the execution and development of the controlling and accounting areas. Ownership of processes in subprocesses.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Preparation of budget and liquidity plans financial forecasts and business analyses. Monitoring and controlling company finances to ensure financial health and efficiency.
• Reporting: Preparation and presentation of semiannual and annual financial statements according to HGB/Dutch GAAP/IFRS. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders especially the stock exchange.
• Cost Control: Implementation and monitoring of cost control mechanisms. Analysis of deviations and development of measures for cost reduction.
• Contract Negotiation and Management: Utilize expertise in contract negotiation and management to ensure favourable terms for the company and manage financial aspects of contracts.
• Strategic Consulting: Supporting management and departments with wellfounded financial analyses and recommendations for action. Participation in strategic decisions and projects. Interface to banks.
• Process Optimization: Identification and implementation of optimization measures in controlling and accounting to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Risk Management: Monitoring and managing financial risks. Development and implementation of measures to minimize risks.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with auditors and tax advisors.

Requirements:

• Education: Completed studies in business administration economics or a comparable field with a focus on controlling finance or accounting.
• Professional Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling and accounting ideally in a leadership position.
• Entrepreneurial Approach: Aiming to develop the growing company into a leading provider of decentralized climatefriendly energy generation.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge in financial planning accounting according to HGB and IFRS cost accounting and budgeting. Experience with ERP systems and controlling software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to analyze and clearly present complex issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German and English both written and spoken.

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten:

• Fhrung und Leitung: Verantwortung fr die Abwicklungen in und die Entwicklung der Bereiche Controlling und Rechnungswesen. Process Ownerschaft in Teilprozessen.
• Finanzplanung und analyse: Erstellung von Budget und Liquidittsplnen Finanzprognosen und betriebswirtschaftlichen Analysen. berwachung und Steuerung der Unternehmensfinanzen zur Sicherstellung der finanziellen Gesundheit und Effizienz.
• Berichterstattung: Erstellung und Prsentation von Halbjahres und Jahresabschlssen nach HGB/Dutch GAAP/IFRS. Sicherstellung der fristgerechten und korrekten Berichterstattung an interne und externe Stakeholder insb. an die Brse.
• Kostenkontrolle: Implementierung und berwachung von Kostenkontrollmechanismen. Analyse von Abweichungen und Erarbeitung von Manahmen zur Kostensenkung.
• Vertragsverhandlung und management: Nutzung von Fachwissen in der Vertragsverhandlung und management um gnstige Bedingungen fr das Unternehmen sicherzustellen und finanzielle Aspekte von Vertrgen zu verwalten.
• Strategische Beratung: Untersttzung der Geschftsfhrung und der Fachabteilungen durch fundierte finanzielle Analysen und Handlungsempfehlungen. Mitwirkung an strategischen Entscheidungen und Projekten. Schnittstelle zu Banken.
• Prozessoptimierung: Identifikation und Implementierung von Optimierungsmanahmen in den Bereichen Controlling und Rechnungswesen zur Steigerung der Effizienz und Effektivitt.
• Risikomanagement: berwachung und Management von finanziellen Risiken. Entwicklung und Implementierung von Manahmen zur Risikominimierung.
• Compliance: Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller relevanten gesetzlichen und regulatorischen Anforderungen. Zusammenarbeit mit Wirtschaftsprfern und Steuerberatern.

Anforderungen:

• Ausbildung: Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs mit Schwerpunkt Controlling Finanzwesen oder Rechnungswesen.
• Berufserfahrung: Mehrjhrige einschlgige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Controlling und Rechnungswesen idealerweise in einer Fhrungsposition.
• Unternehmerischer Ansatz: Ziel das wachsende Unternehmen zu einem fhrenden Anbieter von dezentraler klimafreundlicher Energieerzeugung zu entwickeln.
• Fachkenntnisse: Tiefgehende Kenntnisse in der Finanzplanung Bilanzierung nach HGB und IFRS Kostenrechnung und Budgetierung. Erfahrung im Umgang mit ERPSystemen und ControllingSoftware.
• Analytische Fhigkeiten: Ausgeprgte analytische und konzeptionelle Fhigkeiten. Fhigkeit komplexe Sachverhalte zu analysieren und verstndlich darzustellen.
• Kommunikationsfhigkeiten: Hervorragende Kommunikations und Prsentationsfhigkeiten. Fhigkeit auf allen Ebenen des Unternehmens effektiv zu kommunizieren.
