Internship Social Media Marketing

As a Social Media and Marketing Intern at a cruise ship recruitment agency you will be responsible for supporting the agencys social media and marketing efforts. Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:
   • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to promote the agencys services job openings and events.

   • Monitor and respond to comments messages and inquiries on social media channels.
   • Analyze social media metrics and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
2. Content Creation:

   • Collaborate with the recruitment team to gather information and create content related to cruise ship jobs industry updates and career advice.

3. Community Engagement:
   • Foster and grow the agencys online community by interacting with followers engaging in conversations and promoting usergenerated content.
   • Identify and engage with relevant influencers bloggers and industry partners to expand the agencys online reach.
   • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
4. Marketing Campaign Support:
   • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote the agencys services and recruit candidates.
   • Conduct research on target audiences and contribute to the development of marketing personas.
   • Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures flyers and email newsletters.
   • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
   • Monitor social media analytics and generate regular reports on key metrics including reach engagement and conversions.
   • Provide recommendations based on data insights to optimize social media and marketing strategies.
   • Assist in tracking website analytics and contribute to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or recent graduate in marketing communications digital media or a related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Proficiency in content creation tools and software such as graphic design tools video editing software and social media scheduling platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics social media analytics).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in the cruise ship industry and recruitment processes is desirable.
