Yard Project Manager

Job Summary:

• The Yard Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all yard activities related to the construction maintenance and repair of oil and gas facilities. This role requires extensive project management experience strong leadership skills and the ability to drive projects to successful completion within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

• Develop and implement detailed project plans schedules and budgets.
• Manage daytoday yard operations to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
• Coordinate with engineering procurement and construction teams to meet project milestones and objectives.

Team Leadership

• Lead mentor and manage a team of engineers supervisors and laborers.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
• Promote a collaborative and highperformance work environment.

Quality and Safety Management

• Ensure all yard activities comply with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Stakeholder Communication

• Maintain effective communication with clients subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Address client concerns and provide timely updates on project status.

Resource Allocation

• Manage the allocation and utilization of resources including labor equipment and materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor resource usage and adjust as necessary to optimize efficiency.

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution.
• Ensure contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelors degree in engineering construction management or a related field.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in managing largescale yard operations and complex construction projects.

Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel and work onsite as required.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
