Data Center Infrastructure Management- Embedded

Map infrastructure objects into the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system for monitoring using BACnet Modbus OPC and other industry standard communications protocols.

Work with local and regional construction teams equipment vendors and software development team to coordinate DCIM monitoring of site infrastructure.

Identify and/or develop solutions for integrating infrastructure monitoring systems into DCIM where necessary.

Assure adherence to developed standards as DCIM system is deployed.

Troubleshoot DCIM communications problems which can include all elements of the controls system including field devices controllers network components and software systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Experience in critical facility environment preferred including operations and design. Emphasis & special focus on controls and/or DCIM.

Strong knowledge of the BACnet Modbus or OPC communications protocols including protocol definition implementation strategies and troubleshooting.

Experience with one or more brands of controls systems including: Rockwell ControlLogix Honeywell Schneider Electric or Wonderware.

Experience with data collection and conversion software such as Kepware Matricon TopView OSISoft Pi or equivalent.

Able to understand control architecture using P&ID drawings SAMA diagrams or equivalent.

Ability to program in one or more scripting languages helpful.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a PowerBI Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in SQL and demonstrated expertise in data modeling. Familiarity with BigQuery concepts and its integration with PowerBI. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Proven track record of delivering high-quality PowerBI solutions that drive business impact.
