Job Description

Job Mission:

As an Aircraft System Installation Engineer you will play an essential role in integrating and installing aircraft systems within our nextgeneration sustainable regional aircraft. You will focus on system integration mechanical and electrical installation Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) and Digital MockUp (DMU) to ensure optimal design quality safety and compliance with the applicable standards.

Tasks

  • Lead the integration and installation of aircraft systems including but not limited to electrical cabin avionics powerplant and environmental control systems.
  • Perform the development and implementation of EWIS ensuring compliance with regulatory standards manufacturing process and reliability requirements
  • Define and create complex harnesses assemblies and their routing
  • Setup and build a DMU and the EWIS related guidelines and processes for effective planning physical integration and validation of system installations within the aircrafts digital twin.
  • Design and optimize aircraft and system parts in CAD
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams suppliers and engineering departments to ensure seamless system integration and performance.
  • Innovate in the use of sustainable materials technologies and integration concepts contributing to the aircrafts overall efficiency goals.
  • Manage project timelines deliverables and milestones for system installation and integration activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for the design testing and certification of installed systems.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (BSc/MSc/Eng) in Aerospace Aeronautics Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of professional experience in aircraft system integration and installation with a strong focus on EWIS and DMU.
  • Proven expertise in the aircraft structures electrical and mechanical systems installation aircraft systems integration and more electrical aircraft architectures within large aircraft categories (CS25 or equivalent).
  • Experience with development of detail parts assembly/subassembly installation and aircraft wire routing drawings
  • Proficiency in digital tools and software for system design simulation and installation such as Siemens NX or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge of PLM systems such as Teamcenter or equivalent
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills with a creative and innovative approach to engineering challenges coming out of system installation activities
  • Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Assertive proactive innovative and creative
