Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for inroom dining orders ensuring all food is presented in a timely and visually appealing manner
Maintain a clean and organized work station following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist in menu planning and development taking into consideration guest preferences and dietary restrictions
Work closely with the Room Service team to ensure all orders are delivered accurately and efficiently
Provide exceptional customer service ensuring all guest requests and inquiries are handled promptly and professionally
Continuously strive to improve and enhance the inroom dining experience for our guests
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Commi IRD or in a similar role
Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
