Job Description

The Head of Marketing at Axiata Digital Labs plays a strategic role in enhancing the companys market position and achieving financial growth. This position demands a deep understanding of ADLs products and services market trends and customer needs. The Head of Marketing will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with ADLs business goals and revenue targets set by the Chief Revenue Officer. Key responsibilities include overseeing digital marketing brand management market research and public relations. The role requires a focus on innovative marketing solutions to increase market share and customer engagement leveraging data analytics and AI insights to inform strategies. The Head of Marketing will also ensure that marketing campaigns and initiatives are efficient effective and deliver a high return on investment.
NEED TO DO:

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the organizations overall goals and objectives.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Lead market research efforts to identify trends customer needs competitive analysis and positioning.

Brand Management and Promotion

  • Brand Development: Oversee the development and management of the ADL brand ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Campaign Management: Design and execute effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.

Digital Marketing and Analytics

  • Digital Marketing Oversight: Manage all aspects of digital marketing including SEO SEM social media and content marketing.
  • DataDriven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and AI insights to inform marketing strategies and measure campaign effectiveness.

Public Relations and Communications

  • Public Relations Management: Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance the companys public image.
  • Internal and External Communications: Ensure effective communication strategies are in place for both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the marketing team setting clear goals and performance metrics.
  • Professional Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the marketing department.

NEED TO KNOW AND NEED TO BE:

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced Degree: Masters in business administration Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • Proven Track Record: At least 10 years of experience in marketing with a significant portion in a leadership role preferably in the IT or telecommunications sector.

Knowledge:

  • Marketing Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles including digital marketing brand management and public relations.
  • Industry Insight: Deep understanding of the IT and digital services sector with an ability to identify emerging trends and customer needs.

Skills:

  • Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities both verbal and written and skilled in stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical and DataDriven: Proficient in using data analytics tools and deriving insights from data to inform marketing strategies.
