Job Description
As a School Psychologist you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic social and emotional development of our students. Collaborating closely with educators parents and other professionals you will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Duties:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing various challenges.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students academic social and emotional needs.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of school psychology to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor students progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure their continued growth and development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students academic success.
Requirements
- Hold a valid school psychology license in the state of Illinois.
- Possess a Masters Degree in School or Educational Psychology.
- Eligible for or currently holding endorsement in School Psychology.
