Postion Summary:
Senior Accountant is responsible for implementation of all accounting procedures of the department as per the guidelines of local government as well as the parent Company. The position plays a key role in bookkeeping Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Banking and all other accounting activities. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for preparing reporting for internal and external purposes. This position will also implement financial controls ensuring the accounting processes are robust compliant and support current activities and future growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform coordinate & supervise various accounting tasks such as Bookkeeping Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Banking Cash Application Reconciliations Financial Reporting etc.
- Handle high volume of transactions with utmost accuracy within prescribed timelines.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Performs reconciliations and analysis of ledgers to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate historical records and documentation for audit support.
- Prepare reporting for internal and external use on a routine or adhoc basis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies including but not limited to security trade secrets and confidentiality of all information.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Qualified CA along with 3 years in US/UK Accounting.
- Handson experience with Oracle NetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to other popular accounting applications such as Tally QuickBooks
- Experience with Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel knowledge required.
- Strong English communication skills both written and verbal with problem solving ability.
- Flexibility to grow and change with company needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
