Job Description:

Were seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a role based in New York City. The ideal candidate will possess strong software development skills expertise in cloudnative development with Azure and proficiency in DevOps practices particularly CI/CD.

Top 3 Skills:

• Strong software development skills (unit testing design patterns coding)
• Cloud Native development (Azure App Services Azure Identities etc.)
• DevOps (CI/CD Expertise)

Skills Required:

• Experience in any of the following cloud service providers Azure.
• Experience in Kubernetes and Containerbased technologies.
• Sound experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Develop tooling and selfservice capabilities.
• Strong development skills in Python Java or Golang
• Sound experience in scripting languages such as shell scripting.
• Experience in leading development projects in distributed enterprise environments.
• Experience setting up new development projects using modern tools and practices including git Jenkins testdriven development and continuous integration in a Linuxbased environment.
• Sound knowledge of infrastructure and cloud computing
• Ability to mentor and develop Jr. programmers including participating in constructive code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to enhance the developer experience.

Desired Skills:

• 3 years of experience working in Azure.
• Working with teams using Scrum Kanban or other Agile practices
• Proficiency with standard Linux command line and debugging tools.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs especially to manage and configure compute and storage infrastructure.
• Knowledge of how to write comprehensive unit tests including mocking of external utilities and APIs.
