Job Description

Title: Product Owner
Location: Canada (Remote)
Estimated Duration: 7 months
Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in CA)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PO with Healthcare (Medicare and Medicaid) experience who will be working with the team and potentially the business to create epics / features / stories as well as help drive the actual work to completion. Will need to understand Clients system and help with some resource management although they are Agile they still want timeline and associated budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Product Owner leads or coordinates crossfunctional project/program teams from design to delivery of fullydeveloped products that are ready for customer use.
  • The Product Owner work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
  • The Product Owner monitors performance and recommends schedule changes cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Investigates facts and develops solutions to problems during the design and planning phases.
  • Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders.
  • May be responsible for feasibility studies field trials management identifying product gaps defining product requirements and engaging with customers to understand market needs and trends.
  • Understands department segment and organizational strategy and operating objectives including their linkages to related areas.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods occasionally in ambiguous situations and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Should have Bachelors or Masters degree.
  • 3 years of Product Owner experience.
  • 5 years of leadership and/or project management experience
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Certification
