As a Senior Media Investment Specialist within a talented team you will be responsible for developing and executing buying strategies for our clients across Canada. Your role will involve working closely with our media partners strategists and clients to develop effective buying strategies across all media. You will also be called upon to develop content partnerships and creative projects in collaboration with all our partners (creative agencies and clients).
Responsibilities
Media Investment:
Media buying and rate negotiation in TV radio OOH premium web print;
Evaluation development purchase and negotiation of content projects sponsorships and creativity across all media;
Develop relationships with our media partners;
Optimize advertising campaigns pre and postanalysis participation in postmortems;
Work closely with strategists and the trade desk to bring campaigns to market.
Manage contracts monitor media investments billing and BCR;
Follow trends in online and offline media (TV shows magazines blogs radio programs) always staying updated on new media.
Related Tasks:
Contribute to the ongoing training of the investment team;
Contribute to the improvement of work processes;
Help improve the agencys product;
Specifically support the team of strategists and traders located in Toronto.
Qualifications
3 to 4 years (or more) of experience in media buying across all national media channels;
Deep knowledge of the Englishspeaking Canadian market;
Expertise in the use of media measurement and inventory management tools (Comscore Radius Infosys MediaOcean Prisma COMMB data report);
Good understanding of online/automated buying methods for offline media;
Advanced knowledge of best optimization practices;
Strong interest and basic knowledge of digital performance media;
Basic knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs);
Proficiency in Excel Microsoft Office and Google;
Experience in food or CPG.
