Description
This position is responsible for ensuring the stability integrity and efficient operation of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be a serviceoriented selfstarter who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of support for the firms business objectives and possesses a strong desire for continuous education and area expertise.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and test methodologies for software deployment and updates using a variety of tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Manage device configurations user settings and software deployments.
- Manage hardware operating system application patches and hotfixes and ensure timely deployment to all workstations and laptops.
- Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of server print queues and printers.
- Assist with maintenance and management of Zoom phone and video system.
- Assist with the maintenance of network infrastructure including LAN WLAN SDWAN and data/voice Circuits.
- Assist with maintenance and installation of datacenter infrastructure including HP servers HP Nimble Storage and Cisco / Meraki networking devices and Fortinet firewalls.
- Support firm security initiatives and serve as an escalation point for hardware issues and network system operation issues.
- Assist in distributing setting up and configuring enduser workstations and laptops.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration process mapping asset inventory and service records.
- Occasional travel and the ability to work additional hours when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of systems administration experience preferably in a law firm or professional services role.
- 3 years experience managing devices and software deployments in a network environment preferably using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Microsoft Intune.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID and Scripting Languages such as Batch VBScript and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) Drive Imaging Technologies and Vulnerability / Patch Management Technologies.
- A solid foundation of computer networking principles network security principles and SaaS and webbased software technologies.
- Excellent client service orientation; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
