- Get market insights and provide the Cluster Head with market / competitor data, prices, trends in order to determine market demand and market potential as well as competitors’ market shares
- Sell and promote home and peritoneal dialysis products under strategic guidance and collaboration with cluster head
- Support in monitoring key performance indicators such as patient numbers and overall financial outcomes of home business
- Define actions for the respective countries (strategy into operations)
- Conduct feasibility studies with regard to investments which are necessary to develop the market
- Propose distribution channels and explore appropriate distributors
- Process tenders in close collaboration with the Cluster Head and Order Management Team
- Prepare contracts in close collaboration with Legal (à Contract Management)
- Negotiate prices in set frame and in alignment with the Cluster Head
- Find out sales and price structures of distribution partners
- Respond to HQ queries (database, market info, lists, Market and Competitor Survey) in alignment with the Cluster Head
- Provide input for the Business Value Services unit (especially the Order Management Team)
- Conduct Audit Management
- Interact with the distributor on a daily basis on business operations
- Manage key accounts
- Support local team in Egypt in tender implementation
Customer-orientation
- Keep up a strong customer orientation
- Plan, control and organize distribution networks in the countries
- Maintain existing customer contacts and create new contacts
- Maintain contacts and negotiations with distributor, end-users, KOLs, consultants, institutions and key accounts
- Collaborate with the Order Management Team of the respective countries
Relationship Management
- Establish a good working relationship with internal customers i.e. Order Management Team
- Establish good partnership with customers and stakeholders (especially distributors, KOLs and key accounts)
- Steer and guide the sales force of the distributor
- Challenge the distributor
- Engage actively in local healthcare communities and networks
Legal, Compliance and Regulatory
- Examine and meet compliance guidelines
- Ensure that own sales activities are carried out in full compliance with current local legislation and standards such as GSDP, SOX, FACET
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations
