About the project we need power for

The property management sector is a huge market with more than 18.000 property managers managing over 10 million building units and being responsible for complex workflows. Property managers are still missing the key centerpiece to digitize their processes: a stateoftheart workfloworiented and userfriendly digital operating platform.

We set out to take on this challenge and reshape a stale industry by simplifying complex workflows and making the lives of property managers much easier. At the current state weve already reached an important milestone in building an MVP and being live with pilot customers since the beginning of this year but the journey to the envisaged summit of delivering a truly unique and innovative operating platform for our clients has just begun. As part of this journey you will be able to solve problems for a large market and imprint your own handwriting onto the product thereby making yourself a name in the B2B SaaS space.

Tasks

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will take an active role in ensuring customer success through fast and timely import from a broad range of legacy software systems.

A handson approach in order to get things done to smoothly onboard customers and their huge amount of data.

With a look at the bigger picture to develop the processing for an evergrowing customer base by creating smooth data pipelines automation conversion ETL process (extract transform load official term) creating intelligent automation for the future of the product.

Your activities will include:

Analysis of ERP systems in the German market

Creation and development of import interfaces that enable customer data to be imported quickly and easily from other ERP systems

Matching and mapping of existing data with customer data from previous systems

Customization and improvement of our existing import functions

Automate existing data onboarding processes

Drive and develop smart selfimport functions that can later be used by nontechnical people and customers to perform data transfers

Take over data migrations using developed interfaces for large customer projects

Support other operational teams with data updates

Logical and substantive validation of new customer data

Conversion of incoming data into the standard of our database system

Carrying out or initiating (depending on your technical knowledge) software customizations tool or interface developments

Working closely with the various onboarding teams and external software engineers

Reporting and documentation of internal processes:

Process data onboarding projects and requests quickly and professionally in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and individual contracts.

Correspondence in German and English (in writing and by telephone) with national customers and our international team

Regular processing of individual inquiries and smaller projects

Active participation in the achievement of company goals

Requirements

You shall bring:

Software development with the latest technologies (eg.: Java)

Extensive technical knowledge of data manipulation and methods

Ability to analyze and compare data identify discrepancies or problems and propose solutions

Knowledge of interface development

Ability to empathize with nontechnical customers and create import processes for them

An eye for detail

Precise solutionoriented and structured way of working

Commitment initiative and strong teamwork skills

Strong communication skills and quick comprehension

Fluent written and spoken German and English other foreign languages an advantage

Nice to have:

Previous experience working at a startup is a big plus

UI/UX Knowledge

Experience in Project Management
