Job Description
Autolivs primary goal is to Save More Lives. Our products never get a second chance. This is why we can never compromise on quality. We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team asHomologation Engineer.
In this role you will be responsible for the seatbelts homologation process both for development and serial projects according to the international regulations of each country (Europe China Taiwan etc.)
If you think youll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:
- Coordination of questions regarding seatbelt approvals from a legal perspective
- Independent execution of seatbelt approvals
- Evaluation of changes to the product influencing legally required tests
- Support of project teams in all phases of the approval process including assistance in communication with international OEMs
- Independent communication with authorities and/or technical services
- Offers support for authority audits and participates as observer
- Prepares and follow up formalities for samples delivery
- Maintain up to date homologation documents in PLM database
and if you have/are:
- University degree
- MS Office knowledge
- ALV seatbelt products functionality knowledge
- Willingness to read and understand regulations
- Test specification knowledge according to international regulations
- Good English skills
- Good communication skills homologation point of view consistently represented
- Teamwork orientated attitude and selfresponsible
