What they're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or mental health (LSW/LPC) or chemical dependency (LICDC) related field with the appropriate licensure, registration, or certification.

Knowledge of DSM V diagnosis and ability to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, and safety-related criteria appropriate for the age of the patient served.

Hours and compensation potential: The position is full-time Monday-Friday. The range is between $24.50hr - $33.80hr, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing:

• Functions as a therapist/chemical dependency counsellor/nurse facilitates department operations, delegates patient care responsibilities, completes staff evaluations and serves as a role model by working collaboratively with other Genesis departments.
• Ensures appropriate, complete, and timely assessments of patients and families by staff and communicates employee work performance to the director/manager.
• Keeps director/manager informed of current patient situations and staffing needs and assists director/manager in completing staff performance notes.

• The position is a supervisory position. It will take an experienced candidate with clinical skills who will need to learn three parts, conduct QA, policy development and monitoring regulation compliance, etc.
