The Data Analyst is responsible to provide technical analytical and reporting support to Section or Department to improve understanding and awareness of business performance and facilitate better decision making. Functional Responsibilities • Provide, produce, maintain and continually improve regular management dashboards and reports to support effective decision making • Prepare relevant business data and information using agreed processes, procedures and systems • Use agreed data collection tools for data analysis and management reporting • Ensure relevant data sets are complete, accurate and all information is input in time to allow accurate regular reporting • Review collated business information to identify trends, anomalies and respond to ad-hoc queries for information • Analyse and communicate data analysis findings to a range of stakeholders, using a variety of formats and different approaches • Ensure data integrity is maintained and information is best used to improve business performance with a wide range of individuals, teams, Sections, Departments and Affairs • Provide data and reporting solutions to operational and business issues • Suggest root causes to relevant operational/business issues (where experience allows) based on the information analyzed • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures within the workplace and comply with new work instructions • Perform other duties / tasks as required Qualification: • Bachelor degree in Computer Science; Business Management; Finance Management or equivalent • Holder of Accreditation from relevant professional bodies or similar would be an advantage • Holder of current/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantage Experience: • Minimum of 6 years experience in a position carrying out analytical reporting • Knowledge and experience of information systems, data collection tools and management reporting preferred • Knowledge and experience of dTIMS PMS or equivalent system with regard to operation, system administration and training preferred • Experience with databases including Access, SQL and Oracle
