Job Description

Graduate engineers will get hands-on experience:
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to execute major infrastructure projects.
- Working with both direct labour operations staff and our supply chain to deliver a range of projects and services.
- Site survey activities, preparation of tender documentation, contract award and management of contracts.
- Assist in the preparation and management of programmes and budgets.
- Support site supervisory staff in the management of outdoor operational crews.
- Interface and build relationships with elected members, community groups and key stakeholders.
- Promote and contribute to a culture where Health & Safety is at the core, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Prepare relevant health and safety and operational documentation.
- Develop and implement quality management systems.
- Facilitate and input into scheme design and construction methodology.
- Progress reporting and recording of site activities.
- Work with engineering staff on process improvements and developments to enhance efficiencies.
- Work in accordance with public works suite of contracts.
