Role Overview

Were looking for an outstanding software engineer (Python) to join our backend team. As a Lead Backend Software engineer you will enjoy a high level of involvement and direct handson experience in the planning design and development of new and exciting features from inception to deployment.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about building elegant and scalable software and combines superb communication skills and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in shaping the vision and roadmap of the engineering team
• Plan and implement new features and enhancement of existing product features
• Review merge and deploy code submitted by other backend team members
• Be prepared to quickly and efficiently investigate debug and resolve unforeseen backend issues.
• Coordinate with the Frontend and Product management teams about the status and direction of ongoing projects

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or a related field
• Ability to communicate and comprehend highlevel spoken and written concepts in English
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering
• Handson experience with Python
• Handson experience building scalable APIs
• Handson experience in writing automated unit test
• Possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Openminded humble selfmanaging and a solid team player
• Consistent when mentoring or guiding team members
