Location: 100% Remote

Project Scope: IBM MQ is having issues from an infrastructure and application perspective. Need to do an assessment to figure out the direction of how to use MQ in their environment. Senior Architect. Everything is manual right now. They need to move to Infrastructure as code. They are trying to automate. They dont know what they dont know. Build a scalable dynamic architecture that can scale. Need someone to tell us how to do this. Someone that has come is and done these assessments before. A true SME. Need the confidence to make the recommendations and stand by it when they push it to the business. A true professional.

• Linux Backend
• IBM MQ
• RHEL 8 moving to RHEL 9.
• Apps are java based. Some are multithreaded
• Mainframe backend.
• OnPrem right now. Looking to modernize. Solve RHEL 8 problem first.
• Uniform Cluster Tried this approach. Open to suggestions or a different path. This is what they are currently trying and failing at.

3 phase approach

• Understand current state/make it work Phase 1
• Get it to a functional place Phase 2
• Future state 3
• We need a superstar that can come in and has experience going to clients and doing these assessments.
• Someone that comes from IBM professional services doing this would be the best.
