IT Systems Administrator

Responsibilities of IT Systems Administrator

Technical support and administration of the Atlassian product suite including Confluence Jira Software and Jira Service Management and related plugins

Collaborate with end users to design and implement automation rules and scripts to meet business requirements

Maintain runbooks and related documentation
-
Customizing workflows issue types fields and screens to meet the needs of the organization
-
Setting up and configuring dashboards and reports to provide project status and progress visibility
-
Advise users on how to optimize their use of these applications to support/ align with related business processes
-
Evaluate and implement plugins and integrations
-
Participate in all agile ceremonies
-
Participate in testing and implementing upgrades
-
Work with IT Product Managers and Engineers on larger initiatives
-
Developing and maintaining integrations with other systems such as source control and build systems
-
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with internal toolings
-
Training and supporting endusers on the use of Jira
Requirements for IT Systems Administrator
-
At least 5 years enterpriselevel experience in Jira and Confluence system administration
-
Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence configuration administration and integration
-
Experience with Jira plugins and Atlassian Marketplace applications
-
Experience with business analytics tools such as EazyBI or PowerBI
-
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management workflows
-
Evaluate customer requests and tease out the underlying requirements and use cases
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Communicate in a clear and concise manner

Ability to work effectively in a remotefirst work environment
