Quality Control engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of construction materials workmanship and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  
• Perform various tests on construction materials such as concrete steel and asphalt to verify quality strength and durability.
  
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities including inspection reports test results and nonconformance issues.
  
• Implement quality assurance measures to prevent defects and deviations from project requirements.
  
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards.
  
• Provide training to construction teams on quality control procedures standards and best practices to enhance quality awareness and compliance.
  
• Work closely with project managers engineers and subcontractors to address qualityrelated issues and ensure project success.
  
• Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or a related role within the construction industry.
  
• Proficiency in quality control testing methods and techniques. Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to interpret data identify trends and make informed decisions.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections documenting findings and ensuring compliance.
  
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to communicate with stakeholders effectively and convey qualityrelated information.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and foster a culture of quality and excellence.
