Job Description

This is a remote position.
- Design and implement website for our clients using Wordpress Shopify and iKit (internally developed systems PHP and MySQL)
- Design websites based on a solid understanding of clients needs and overall business strategy
- Responsible for both frontend and backend development
- Coordinate and update any required website changes
- Integrate data from various backend services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Ensure high performance and availability of all sites including conducting regular performance tests
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies to apply to existing and new websites
- Support internal projects including the development of a web based presentation tool
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in Website Development and Design
- software development experience in PHP
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS Javascript AJAX etc
- Knowledgeable with MySQL database
- Experience with Wordpress and Shopify
- Able to demonstrate a portfolio of self designed websites
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
