Job Description

We are hiring a CNM 1 Interventional Radiology for a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all nurses working in the Radiology Dept are familiar with and knowledgeable regarding the correct procedure to follow in the case of fire loss of power cardiac arrest and major incident.
- Ensure necessary equipment is available and functioning to meet service needs.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff members and participate in and conduct performance assessments of assigned staff in conjunction with the CNM II.
- Assist with the identification and assessment of staff training needs and inservice training program
- Collaborate with the CNM II to ensure a safe and adequate skill mix within available resources.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible to register with NMBI
- Have at least 3 years postregistration experience of which 1 must be in the specialty of interventional radiology and interventional cardiology
- Have the clinical managerial and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role properly
- Technical/Clinical Competencies
- Demonstrate IT Skills
