Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Level 2 Office 365 Engineer to join our growing IT team. In this role you will be responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and support for a wide range of Office 365 services. You will diagnose complex issues develop solutions and collaborate with other engineers to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Office 365 services including:
  1. Exchange Online (email calendars contacts)
  2. SharePoint Online (document management collaboration)
  3. OneDrive for Business (cloud storage)
  4. Microsoft Teams (communication and collaboration)
  5. Other relevant Office 365 workloads (specify if applicable)
  • Provide advanced technical support to internal users and/or external clients experiencing Office 365 problems.
  • Conduct indepth analysis of user issues using diagnostic tools and logs.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Document technical issues resolutions and knowledge base articles clearly and concisely.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or Microsoft support as needed.
  • Stay uptodate on the latest Office 365 features functionalities and security updates.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g. network security) to ensure seamless integration of Office 365 services.
  • May provide technical guidance and training to Level 1 support technicians.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 45 years of experience in a technical support role with at least 3 year experience as a Level 2 Office 365 engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 architecture services and functionalities.
  • Indepth knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies for Office 365 applications.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerShell for Office 365 administration (highly preferred).
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proven ability to document technical issues and solutions thoroughly.
  • MCSA: Office 365 certification (preferred).
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is a plus.
