We are seeking a talented and experienced Level 2 Office 365 Engineer to join our growing IT team. In this role you will be responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and support for a wide range of Office 365 services. You will diagnose complex issues develop solutions and collaborate with other engineers to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Office 365 services including:
- Exchange Online (email calendars contacts)
- SharePoint Online (document management collaboration)
- OneDrive for Business (cloud storage)
- Microsoft Teams (communication and collaboration)
- Other relevant Office 365 workloads (specify if applicable)
- Provide advanced technical support to internal users and/or external clients experiencing Office 365 problems.
- Conduct indepth analysis of user issues using diagnostic tools and logs.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Document technical issues resolutions and knowledge base articles clearly and concisely.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or Microsoft support as needed.
- Stay uptodate on the latest Office 365 features functionalities and security updates.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g. network security) to ensure seamless integration of Office 365 services.
- May provide technical guidance and training to Level 1 support technicians.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 45 years of experience in a technical support role with at least 3 year experience as a Level 2 Office 365 engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 architecture services and functionalities.
- Indepth knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies for Office 365 applications.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerShell for Office 365 administration (highly preferred).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Proven ability to document technical issues and solutions thoroughly.
- MCSA: Office 365 certification (preferred).
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is a plus.
