Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons to primary/secondary school students.
• Create and implement a wellstructured curriculum that aligns with educational standards and school objectives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student.
• Assess and evaluate student performance providing constructive feedback and guidance to facilitate growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings sharing best practices and contributing to curriculum development.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and progress.
• Establish effective communication channels with students parents and guardians keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree in History or a related field along with relevant teaching certifications.
• Proven experience as a History teacher preferably in a primary/secondary school setting.
• Indepth knowledge of the History curriculum and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with students parents and colleagues.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with educational technology tools.
