Job Description
Position: Senior Migration Delivery Engineer
Location: Nashville TN US
Hybrid work: 3 days/week in the office
Project Description:
Your role:
Were seeking an adaptable individual with a strong skill set who is eager to immerse themselves in our intricate infrastructure landscape technologies and processes.
Responsibilities:
Define migration jobs and oversee their execution in the production environment.
Monitor the execution of migration tasks and promptly address any technical issues that arise.
Analyze technical issues related to the PROD Migration Platform and implement appropriate solutions.
Investigate errors and discrepancies in migration jobs and data ensuring accurate reconciliation of migrated records.
Collaborate with source systems Hitachi and Business Analysts to conduct indepth analysis of migration issues when required.
Document errors issues and resolutions on the Migration Platform for future reference and improvement.
Mandatory Skills:
Ability to comprehend the broader context and visualize the big picture within complex migration projects.
Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
Proven track record of suggesting and implementing improvements to products and processes.
Proficient documentation skills to accurately record issues solutions and enhancements.
Exceptional attention to detail and perseverance in problemsolving.
Technical background with experience in Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) projects.
NicetoHave Skills:
Previous experience with data migration and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes.
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience with Cypress for test automation.
