Senior Manager Procurement

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the hospital chains overall objectives.
  
• Foster relationships with suppliers negotiate contracts and secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  

• Lead mentor and inspire a highperforming procurement team.
  
• Establish clear performance metrics and regularly assess the teams effectiveness.
  

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  
• Evaluate vendor performance ensuring adherence to quality cost and delivery standards.
  

• Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or patient care.
  
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance procurement efficiency.
  

• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws regulations and ethical standards.
  
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and maintain awareness of industry trends.
  

• Explore and implement advanced procurement technologies to streamline processes.
  
• Collaborate with IT teams to leverage data analytics for informed decisionmaking.
  

• Work closely with department heads to understand their procurement needs and objectives.
  
• Collaborate with finance operations and other relevant departments to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in business Supply Chain Management or a related field;
  
• Proven experience in procurement management within the healthcare sector with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role.
  
• Indepth knowledge of healthcare procurement regulations policies and best practices will be an advantage.
  
• Experience of using any ERP and esourcing tool (Ariba Oracle SAP)
  
• Ability to influence key internal stakeholders with strong emphasis on relationship building.
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop highperforming teams.
