Job Description
Our Client is one of the leading investment banks in the world and for their growing professional team we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Finance and Technology).
Tasks
- Understand data and reporting logic requirements and challenges from financial reporting teams
- Analyse existing SQL scripts to find solutions to complex problems
- Analyse data needs identify data sources & facilitate the transition from legacy to standard data models
- Investigate and escalate data quality issues
- Facilitate constructive dialogue between multiple departments at various levels of seniority to provide effective solutions to meet strategic data goals
- Liaise with both Finance and Technology teams to ensure requirements mean the same for everyone on data processes and structures
- Express a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results and you are empowered to make decisions
- Benefit from your organized personality attention to detail analytical mindset and independent working style
- Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance
Requirements
- 15 years of work experience in data management financial or risk reporting accounting or system implementation roles
- SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with advanced data integration/transformation workflow tools (e.g. KNIME Alteryx Talend Dataiku Python Power BI etc) is an advantage
- Experience with endtoend project management
- Technology and/or Finance degree or advanced qualification
- Interpersonal skills ability to manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority using the English language
- Be proactive and good analytical skills
- Be able to break down information in a systematic and communicable manner
