Overview:
As an Assistant Orthopedic Jr Consultant you will play a vital role in assisting the senior orthopedic consultants in providing highquality care and treatment to orthopedic patients. You will work closely with the orthopedic team to diagnose treat and manage orthopedic conditions ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations and medical examinations
- Assist in diagnosing orthopedic conditions and injuries
- Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient care
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as xrays CT scans and MRIs
- Provide postoperative care and rehabilitation support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and discussions
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic care and treatments
- Assist in educating patients about their conditions and treatment options
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree and valid state medical license
- Completion of orthopedic residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery
- Experience in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions
- Strong surgical skills with proficiency in orthopedic procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced medical environment
